Bow spine

Arrow spine is basically the stiffness of the arrow. To get a good tune and shoot accurately, especially with broadheads, you need the right spined arrow.

A couple things that affect arrow spine include
Bow poundage
Arrow length
Weight added to the front and back of the arrow.

The correct term is arrow spine and it refers to how stiff or flexible the arrow performs when shot in the specific bow. You have draw length, draw weight of the bow, weight of the arrow, diameter of the arrow, what the arrow is made of, what is the thickness of the arrow wall, the broadhead weight, and a few items I may have overlooked.

When a bow groups right or left many times this is a result of the arrow spine. You can experiment with arrow selection or adjust the bow poundage slightly.

A good bow shop can solve this issues spot on for you.
