Live from the stand 2016!

Awesome hunt, seen 20 or more doe and six bucks...one absolute stud, I posted a pic of him on my land tour awhile back...a nine, couple 8's and basket racks...Haydn was beside himself when the big 10 with kickers stepped out. He said to me on the way in that it was the best thing that's ever happened to me, a red nose moment for sure.

I lied. Sneaked out this evening. 6 does eating under stand for 2 hours. Where the heck is my 8?? Still too warm.

Will have a few stands full of kids tomorrow AM as my son and one or two of his friends open youth rifle season on our place. This will be our first Opening Day on our new property!! Hopefully there will be MANY more to come!! I'll probably climb up in a lockon with my bow and wait for a BOOM!!! :D

Just climbed into my stand got my ozone unit hung and running and a bedded doe stood up at ten yards and ran off...busted!!!

Spooked one as I was walking in but didn't take off real fast and didnt blow so, hopefully not a big deal. 45° and calm. Can hear the acorns falling so let's see what the day brings!

Haydn and I are sitting in a box ground blind overlooking a food plot this this am...hoping to shoot a hog, or get Haydn a buck.

Just had two deer come trotting in behind me. Stopped, started walking, then trotted off. Almost sounded like pre rut chasing but it's way too early for that here. I could only see legs and tails (glimpses of body) but the second definitely looked bigger than the first.

Nice 8 point just walked by. Not a shooter for me. Poor picture due to brush...center of frame...at base of dark crooked tree...
