What do you think is my best pose?

I know yall have some bruisers in north and Midwest, but this guy is pretty good for central Alabama.

He looks terrified you might be backing the tractor toward him!!! Seriously what a great buck.

I sure hope the next picture we see of him as you or one of your family members behind- smiling like a mule eating briars!

Lak, just now catching up with a few threads. That looks like a close call with that big limb. I'm so very glad you were not hurt, and thanks for sharing a reminder to watch for the unexpected.

That buck is a real dandy. It's great to have one like that running around - gives you something to dream about!!!

Whoa!!! That's a nice buck you got roaming around lak! Hope he becomes a regular. Be fun following along as you chase that bad boy.

Lak...when are you gonna tell these guys that deer is in your neighborhood at the lake...it would be like herding cats to get him over to your hunting property ;)

So you think a bucks range is less than 75 miles , huh? I am still puzzled that so many bucks ( nice bucks) hang around here. I may have to get that bow out of the closet

Many of you know I have had problems with this heifer for some time. Owner cannot corral here or hold her in any pen. She loves my food plots in the winter time, and obviously enjoys the corn and mineral block as well. Had not seen her for a long time. I thought the owner and other guy had got her with dart gun or something and removed her. When I got these pics I sent to the owner and said "She is now FAT" and that I had not seen her for awhile. He said "We had not seen her for three months, so we thought you had made steaks out of her"

Well, I was glad to her that making steaks would have been an ok option. At this point we are thinking about waiting for colder weather, shoot and take to processer ( I want to talk to the processer first). Owner is willing to go halves on processing costs and meat.

Question for cattle folks out there. Will she eat? Will that plan be worth the processing costs?

Lak- market and sell that free ranging, organic beef and cover your costs for a couple of seasons :)

She will eat just fine. Find out what day is kill day at processors. Set it up ahead of time and have help set up to get her loaded as dead cow weight is gonna be pretty taxing...
