Bug Below Apple Trees

I'm not up on my bug identification but these little buggers were in grass under majority of my apple trees.

Should I be worried or just more bird food

There are many kinds of caterpillars and other insects that will attack apple tree leaves and fruit. I wouldn't do anything until I saw them start attacking the tree - then I would intervene. Keep a sharp eye out.

I don't recognize that one. Tent caterpillars are usually the problem on my trees. Spray with Dipel, (BT) if they start causing a problem. You should also look up the Puss caterpillar if you are growing apple trees. They can give you a nasty sting.
