Youth Hunt Tomorrow

Our season starts tomorrow with a youth only hunt. I will be taking my daughter on the first hunt that she will be shooting. Looking forward to the time together but not the heat

What is your approach for this time of the year? Get to a food plot and sit the last couple hours? Or sit and watch for deer through a known travel corridor?

We will be sitting overlooking a valley that feeds up to a food plot in the woods. It's about halfway between the swamp where they bed and the plot. Unless the tropical storm shifts the wind then we will be in a tower blind that overlooks a clearcut.

We were in sc yesterday sweating sitting on the beach! I can’t imagine hunting in that weather, but good luck to you guys hope you have a great hunt with your daughter!
