Yes, agree on Wahoo. Related species to strawberry bush but not the same. One easy way to tell the difference is the warty bumps on the seed pods of SB. Leaf size and appearance also differs. Both great plants.

Thanks guys. Its growing in good soil on seasonably wet ground. Nice to find something thats not a boxelder!
