Some of you may be old enough to remember the 'range wars' of the desert SW back in the 90s.....very similar to the BLM controversy further north and out west today.
Ironically, many people still believe in order to conserve or protect lands for long-term wildlife use that sources of perceived degradation must be removed. Maybe we should be concerned more about what hasn't happened under long term rest!
