Vevor Chainsaws

Anybody bit on these Vevor chainsaws that keep popping up in my feed? They have a little 12" one that might be handy to throw on the four wheeler for less than $100. I follow a small engine repair guy on instagram and he ripped one of the bigger saws down and it looked decent. Probably get what you pay for just curious if anyone has tried one.

From what I see, folks seem to see Vevor as a competitor to Harbor Freight. My guess is that you will likely see the same kind of variation in quality because of poor QC. I have Harbor Freight tools that have lasted 20 years, but I also had harbor freight tools that were good for one project before they failed. I have used a few other Vevor tools, but not the chainsaws.

I got the Vevor 6' aluminum ramps, heavy duty with nice welds, and the price was dirt cheap. But I'd be hesitant to buy a tool with an electric motor off brand.

Showed up in three days. Got it put together, going to try it out this weekend. Manual recommends 40/1 fuel mix instead of the 50/1 I feed the Stihl. Hopefully it runs good, it is the perfect size for trimming stands and other light work.

Three pulls and fired right up

Cut a little bit of brush with it this weekend. Smaller engine than I am used to so it will bog down a little faster in brush. You have to watch flooding it, but if you don't over prime it fires right up. It has a lot of plastic parts so we will see how long it makes it, I am pretty good at tearing stuff up. It's not going to replace my stihl for dropping trees and girdling. For trimming out stands and light TSI I would say worth the $80 so far.

Now that looks like fun! (and good practice in case any radical violent extremist fanatics show up in the holler) And a pulling hole to boot, to pull it out with the Ranger if it gets stuck.

Friday, free delivery, which means that I have to drive to town to get it on Saturday. Made in China, go figure. The description says that it is unisexual.

"Since our stainless steel machetes are unisex- they would be the best gift to any person that loves outdoor live."

I would like a Stihl brush cutter 63cc- $1,899. A vevor 63cc brush cutter 5 in 1 tool $200. I might try a vevor.

I have both a stihl FS 75 and HT 75. They are at least 30 years old and still running fine. Presuming the vevor works just as well, it would need at least a 10 year lifespan to be equivalent.

It's obviously a LGBTQ machete:
Large
Grass,
Brush-
Trimming
Quick-chopper handles them all.
