Suppressor?

Thinking about buying a suppressor in the next year. What are you using and pros and cons? Planning on using it on a 6.5 creedmore, 300 Blk, and a 223 AR.

Running a few different ones. My three favorites are my TBAC Ultra 5, Silencer Central Banish 30, and SilencerCo Harvester Evo

It really comes down to budget in the long run

Omega 300 is a really popular option.

Silencer Central has some great BOGO's going on right now on their website

I bought a Nomad titanium 30 for the .243 our kids shoot. No complaints.

I do like the quick detach muzzle devices. Of course my rifles all have different thread sizes. I plan on getting a 30 cal just so it will work on everything I have.

That's what I like about the Yankee T3, it's quick detach with a decent looking muzzle brake left after it's removed. There's also a choice of a flash suppressor base instead of the muzzle brake. It has a nice spring loaded clicking retainer pin to facilitate easy on/off with a two turn twist. 20241220_125636.jpg

I have a 30 caliber suppressor on a 6.5 Creedmore. I went with an 18" barrel model, so the gun was nice and compact with the suppressor. A suppressor will add length, so be aware how your guns will handle with it.

I'd recommend something that's finished with cerakote. Mine is anodized aluminum and it has some light scratches from use. I added a cover to it this season.

I took a doe with the combo this year. The deer in near vicinity weren't particularly alarmed by the shot. They barely moved.

I do have a muzzle device on the 6.5 this is for 6.5 caliber. It came with a 30 cal device, but I swapped it last year so I could use the 30 cal on something else one day. Both shot to the same POI.
