Hydro dipped in a burlwood pattern. The rifle is a Ruger American with factory stock. Hydro dipping has several different wood and camo patterns. Cost is usually right around $100.

It is quite durable too. I have had this rifle for 8 years and hunt and target shoot with it frequently and so far no scratches. I use dish soap to clean the stock when it gets mud and crud on it. Sure makes that Tupperware stock easier to live with. I was going to replace it with a wooden stock but this rifle shoots 1/2 groups with 180 grain Hornady tipped bullets. Most accurate gun I own.
