Miscanthus/Rye ?

I am putting in a road screen in the next couple days with miscanthus. Last fall it was planted in Winter Rye. Contemplating if I should terminate the Rye with glyphosate or not? Or should I just plant it in the Rye, and let the miscanthus come up through it?

I think you would be happier if the rye was terminated, I have planted MG in switch grass and it is doing well but it has taken longer than the MG I've planted in a cleaner bed.
