HB_Hunter Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2016 #1 Looking for some help to confirm what this is. It's about 12" tall.
Native Hunter Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2016 #2 That is either Slender Bush Clover or Common Lespedeza, aka Japanese Clover by some folks. The good news is that it is not Sericea Lespedeza. Last edited: Jul 31, 2016

I couldn't see your leaves well enough to say for sure, but you can look at these close up pics and be able to tell. I'm leaning toward the second one. http://www.illinoiswildflowers.info/savanna/plants/sl_bushclover.htm http://www.na.fs.fed.us/fhp/invasive_plants/weeds/japanese_clover.pdf
