Too many ticks and chiggers to walk through some parts of the NH Jungle, so I took a stroll from inside the pickup truck to see what all was growing right now.
Our Blackberries are still several days from being ripe, but looking good for the long haul...
Persimmon crop is heavy this year:
Crabapples kind of unbelievable:
Apples looking fine too:
Witch Hazel making lots of nuts:
Service Berries:
Chestnut burs forming already:
Elderberry in bloom:
Sawtooths making nuts:
Wild blueberry still very green:
Allegheney Chinkapin forming well but lagging behind chestnuts:
Enjoy.... looks like a good year for fruits and nuts.
