Garlon 4

I've decided to give garlon 4 a try instead of tordon for cut stump treatment. From what I've read garlon 4 is much less likely to damage surrounding desirable tree species. The information I haven't been able to find is exactly how and with what others are mixing with garlon 4. My plan is to cut trees that can easily be cut and girdle others that cannot and apply the mix with a small hand sprayer. Any suggestions on a proper mix would be greatly appreciated!

What are you trying to kill? I think that I use a 50/50 mix with water when hack n squirting popcorn trees but that’s off the top of my head...

50/50 mix with basal oil. You can also use diesel fuel or kerosene if you do t have basal oil

I will be targeting mostly ironwood and boxelder trees.
