First time seeing a fox around here in years and its in my backyard. I still swear I saw a grey fox here about 5 years ago here too but everyone says they are to rare.

Still some foxes in our area. I get a red quite often on cam. But more coyotes than foxes by far.

We do have Grey fox in Nebraska. I mounted one for a friend who lives in Ashland and I have seen pics of a couple of others killed in state. Generally they are found along the Missouri river.

Saw one red near us as a kid, and never another one until just a few years ago.
Now I see a few every year.

I get about 1 per year here. Coyotes make them live hard.
