Thanks for the kind words. I hate the QDMA forum is no longer in use but I think alot of us have moved over here. I look forward to following everyone here.
Finally got some nuts on the Chinese Chestnuts. I have these trees planted in a location that is to wet for them in the winter and spring. I was afraid they where not ever going to produce. Got a few this year.
Hope this screenshot will work. Its an aerial of the farm. Google has not updated since 2013 so the young pines will look alot different when a new aerial is taken.

This is a Kieffer pear that has to many pears for a couple of the limbs. They broke in the last week. Deer have ate the pears and leaves they can reach.
The following pictures are of the clearcut that has been sprayed and ready for a fire. Waiting on a couple weeks of dry weather. This 20 acres will be planted in longleaf this winter.
Thanks lakngulf
I planted these trees as whips in 2010. Had a few pears last year but they are all loaded this year. I was afraid a frost had gotten them but it didn't.
