Cable Cutters?

TV not the tool!

I am thinking about ditching my Dish network. I can pull in my local channels with a OTA antenna. After years of a DVR I hate to watch commercials again. I am looking at something like the Tivo. Anybody cut their cable cords and have any suggestions? We have Netflix so the kids can still catch their cartoons. I have a few shows on the outdoor/sportsman channel that I will miss (and a lot I won't!). Also need to find a source for AMC since I am hopelessly addicted to The Walking Dead. These 100 degree days would be rough without some TV!

My wife has Tivo it is basically just a digital recording device, still need to be a cable subscriber to use it. Same thing as "Hopper" on which ever satellite company has it. I rarely watch t.v .... very little worth watching in this day and age.

If you don't have Smart TVs then just use a Roku or something (Fire TV/Chromecast)

The thing is ...watch your internet pricing if you cancel cable tv. They're out to screw you. The cable companies are getting hammered by people doing this.

We got live Tv back last year (for NFL) and the kids still don't watch it.

We have a Amazon Fire stick for streaming. I am trying out Sling TV but can't get it to work yet.
