BurGambel vs. BurEnglish Oak

Can anyone suggest a good way to differentiate between these two hybrid oak? I planted both varieties 11 years ago and one of them has acorns for the first time this fall, but the aluminum tag is gone. I've looked at my tagged trees for a match, but there is enough variability between individuals that I cannot determine which hybrid it is.

The acorns are still hanging on this tree, so I am leaning toward BurEnglish, as I understand that most BurGambel acorns drop in September. And the acorns do not have a strongly fringed caps, either.
