They’re still planting that crap on roadways in NC. There’s some in my county, so far nothing on us but as I open the canopy and burn I’m keeping a look out. Multi flora rose and barberry are the two noticeable invasives we have.

The last few summers I’ve been wearing Sitka equinox guard pants. They come in a solid color. Lightweight and the factory permethrin treated clothes are good for 80 washes. For a shirt I’ll wear a long sleeve underarmor or similar sun shirt or just a T-shirt.

Felling trees, girdle and spray, and hack and squirt in the burn units this weekend.
Cut this red oak that was way too close to another. I’m easily distracted stacking firewood caches for future use.

It would be tough for me to replace that beautiful native habitat with crops. If you need the extra cash I can certainly understand the desire and wouldn’t hesitate. If the money isn’t all that important, I’d leave it in natives.
