Shanks have become sought after parts of the deer in our house. Takes a little more work but low and slow in a Dutch oven or crock pot and you’re left with amazing meat. Lots of options once it’s off the bone and shredded. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Venison shank tacos tonight. Put the shank in a crockpot on high for six hours with chopped onion and beef stock. Shredded then pan fried the meat in a little olive oil to add some crisp. Delicious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The last few summers I’ve been wearing Sitka equinox guard pants. They come in a solid color. Lightweight and the factory permethrin treated clothes are good for 80 washes. For a shirt I’ll wear a long sleeve underarmor or similar sun shirt or just a T-shirt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
