The Turkey I shot on the opener was 40 yards through the woods with a 3” load of Federal #6 shot. Only pellets I found in it were all in the head…luck…there is a video of it out there though🤣

I have been hunting quite a bit but have yet to see the one that trips my trigger. This morning I had a rutty old buck walk by that stunk so bad I could smell him at 20 yards…it’s time to be in the woods!
Well…it will definitely kill them. Many times raccoons are shot from trees so that might be an issue as far as how far the bullet continues to travel and if you are wanting to keep them for their hides that will probably be out but yes you can use them on a raccoon…
