Any Dogs near Trigg County KY?

The story is unfortunately very disappointing all the way around and worth sharing with this group. I backed out 2 hours after my shot Saturday morning and avoided stepping back into the woods until 7 1/2 hours later since I thought it was a paunch hit. I managed to get someone agreed to...

Any Dogs near Trigg County KY?

Thanks, I did check the site but noted the only individuals tracking for KY were based out of states such as Ohio, Mich, and Georgia. Assumed I may be a bit far for them as Trigg is near Lake Barkeley, but will call them when I slip out if I don't find out of someone traveling through the area...

Any Dogs near Trigg County KY?

Anyone have a dog near Trigg County KY? I just shot the above deer with my bow and he would be my best with archery. He was center punched as that was the only shot available and I saw the arrow pointing out both sides. I know I have paunch but don't know if it's liver. Also very aware he will...

    Live from the stand 2016!

We are in Trigg County, and first light sounded like a 10 minute war towards LBL while the orange army took down a bunch of wayward yearlings, but almost no shooting from 7-9 and sparse since. I Have a feeling the last 30 MIN before dusk will be crazy as last night the bucks got pretty...

    Live from the stand 2016!

Sitting on the edge of bedding here in Central KY at 12:09 pm. Word of advice to everyone this weekend, try to be in your stand from 9-12 each morning. Our group of three collectively saw 10 deer from sunrise to 9. We have seen over 30 from 9-12 including 4 bucks a piece, which were 10 different...

    KY Deer Age/Opinions (Season-Long Thread)

Got a new buck on camera last week and would like to hear your opinion on whether he is a shooter, given the context of deer above. My thoughts are the body features indicate mature despite the mediocre rack compared to the areas potential. Tough decision when you have a one buck tag and 3 guys...

    KY Deer Age/Opinions (Season-Long Thread)

Would love to get others opinion on the deer that aren't obviously mature/shooters. Curious as to whether I'm being overly optimistic in hoping that so many of them are just 3.5. Simply based on the discrepancy between those deer and the truly mature deer, seems like quite a leap.

"Ghost" ~4.5 "Seacrest" ~2.5 (looks like he's 5 in the face and body is fat, but small?) left- "Spud" ~3.5 (smaller buck in the pics with the deer we call Zeus)

    KY Deer Age/Opinions (Season-Long Thread)

Here are some non-shooters, would love others age opinions as ours are best guesses based on what we've seen from the previous "fully-mature" deer. "Tex" ~3.5 "FedEx" ~4.5 "Saban" ~3.5

    KY Deer Age/Opinions (Season-Long Thread)

I was a long time viewer of the QDMA management threads and was sad to see it go. Glad to see many of the previous posters came over to this site and plan on keeping a running thread of the deer we are seeing on our property in Trigg County KY. My intent is to have others see a general sample...
