Just reading through an old thread and seen where you are from. I'm also in Ont. in WMU 58 nice to see someone else from Ont. I'm in unit 4 so we probably get frost before you do. I mostly plant Ladino white clover with a cover crop of winter wheat, by mowing after the wheat has matured around...
TX I was just reading through this thread and thouht I would let you know what I have been doing, my plots are Ladino and White Dutch clover. I am fairly far north in zone 4. In early Aug. I spread Winter wheat then mow with a flail mower, I cut the plot twice as soon as I'm finished cutting I...
I have a one acre plot that was seeded early Aug. 2024 to ladino and dutch white clover and winter wheat it was a great attractant in Nov. deer season. This year I let the wheat mature the deer and turkeys were eating the heads when it started to ripen, when mature I just put the flail mower...

I tried a front mount spreader on my ATV it is geat for seeds but I only used it once for fetilizer as you are contiualy driving into fertilizer dust which will rust your machine. I purchased a rear speader which fits the 2 inch reciever and works much beter.
Ahh yes after reading the label it was all in metric thats why I was concerned, but then I realised that this was just another great idea given to us by our great Lieberal government, soon we might be allowed to use vinegar on weeds.🥵
Thanks for the info.
I have a similar problem, I ordered Clethodim and recieved ARROW ALL IN. I'm wondering if you have tried this and if so would you still recommend 16 oz in 15 gallons water per acre?
