Grizz, I believe I read somewhere that you broadcasted GC's cool season mix this spring? How is it coming along? I planned to drill a cool season soil builder this spring and letting it go until August but it's been too wet so it looks like I'll be planting a cool season mix later than I'd like.
Not for a minute do I believe they will dive behind the screen!! Jeff makes everything sound so easy and resolute. I've had no luck getting deer to bed where I want them too.....this will be no different.
I want a doe factory too. I want the does to bed on my ground. I'm hoping his statement on doe bedding in one of his latest videos is accurate! Paraphrased...... "all you have to do to create doe bedding is plant a switch grass screen between a food plot and the cover and the does will bed...
I don't have the seed label. I'm going down the same Regen road with a crimper and dialing in mixes from Green Cover. Have you had good termination with your crimper?
I planted Green Cover's Warm Season Soil Builder last summer and suggest dialing back the Sorghum Sudan Grass a bit. It shaded out the other plants in the mix. Are you terminating via herbicide or crimping?
Stay single Mark and you can make it happen, LOL. Women drive or influence 80% of consumer spending in the US. Hard to believe considering all the toys us guys have.
I'm planting Green Covers Warm Season Soil Builder mix if it ever drys out and what is essentially their Cool Season Deer Mix in August. First step in our conversion to regen plotting.
