Chronic Wasting Disease As you head into the woods this hunting season, MDWFP asks you to continue helping fight Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD). A primary way you can help is by submitting CWD samples from harvested deer at a drop off location or participating taxidermist.

There is a pretty big outbreak of CWD here in MS. Most of the hunters have given up hunting deer. So they have not been spending money on hunting supplies too much.

We got about a 1" here , supose to get more tonight late. Our ponds are down about a foot or two in most places. A ton of leaves came off the trees though.

The deer may not start to develope his real genectics till he is 3 years old. we have had several bucks that were spikes for some years and later on became 6 and 8 and 10 points.?????

Be REAL CAREFUL about changing anything in the area - till you see what the deer are doing ?- bedding - feeding- or travel thru. They don't like any change much.
