    Attractant for Camera survey

I think the best thing I ever used to get deer on camera was a plastic jar of peanut butter. Screw top top of the jar to a tree and cut the bottom off with a knife. That makes them stand there trying to lick it out of the jar. Also had a picture with 7 raccoons also going after the peanut...

    Tractor Help

I ended up getting a 4075r john deere earlier this year. The cutoff point for DPF VS DEF is 75 hp for the DEERE. I went with the largest I could get but still avoid having to deal with DEF.

    FOOD PLOT YIELD RATES

Where I'm at in Minnesota beans, peas, sunflowers or turnips don't stand a chance of keeping up with the deer unless you've got 5 acres or more. Rye, wheat, oats, clover and chicory I broadcast about twice as much as recommended to allow for the deer consumption and still have good plots with...

    Grading tips?

Maybe some type of screen material over the holes so it still vents but stops entry of those bugs. I had something packing dirt on my camera lens a couple of years ago. Also had a bear turn my camera on about a 45 degree angle which really made it hard to look at the pictures that were taken...

    Tractor Help

That would be a lot of fun to have options and be able to go around comparing different brands. Ideal scenario there. I'm curious about New Holland and how they compare but I don't know anyone who has one to ask them questions. Also have to be leary of the brand loyal guys. The ones who say...

    Tractor Help

I would vote for a cab. Once you have a cab you don't want to be without it. Whenever buying I always consider being able to get machinery serviced. Sooner or later you will need service. I don't have any experience with kubota. No dealers around me. Sorry, not much help with the brand. Just...

    I'm getting a tractor

If you are just clearing with a mower and not making hay I would suggest a flail mower vs a rotary. The flail can take a lot more abuse and keep on cutting. jmho

    Grading tips?

I'm thinking I may have to do this pretty soon. Got a "squeaker" in there somewhere on mine. Were yours greaseless or did you have a zerk on them somewhere? I should have had mine checked when maintenance was done by the dealer but if you don't tell them specific things to do they usually don't...

    Grading tips?

I haven't had to replace any yet. Is it a simple fix or will I need to get mentally prepared for a battle?

Opinions needed for optimal deer blind design

Looks like the dance floor is on the far end of the basketball court.

Very quick season...But not for good reasons.

My dad had both of his knees replaced and it worked for him. Hell of a process for sure. Too bad on the deer. Around here if you don't find your deer just pay attention to the crows, they usually find dead animals and make a lot of noise after they start picking.

Very quick season...But not for good reasons.

It was like a section of a wet suit they use for scuba diving.
