Originally from Southern Illinois, we have been in Western Kentucky for 6 years. There once was a time that I hunted just about everything that was legal, but as I got older I decided I couldn't slow down and enjoy it because as soon as one season started another would follow quickly behind it. So, for about a 9 year period all I chased was ducks. But that all changed when we moved down here and my oldest nephew turned 13. Now, every fall when rifle season comes I am like a kid at Christmas waiting and watching my nephews discover the amazing world of hunting that I had discovered many years ago.
