Well I checked plot today and a lot of the tops of the chicory are gone looks like they are starting to eat it

That nurse crop ain't done until it's carcasses have become SOM! To say it is done now is forgetting bigger parts of the whole cycle!

I will second that thought and say that the "nursing job" is finished and the "building job" is beginning.

One more spot I took a pic of yesterday down by the branch. This is a shady area, and if I remember correctly I went with mixed clovers and wheat but no chicory here. You can see the path where I went through with a bushhog a couple of weeks ago.
