Spraying boom?

I am in need of getting a boom for my old continental belton pull behind tractor sprayer. I am tired going boomless and getting less than ideal kill rates. Anybody know of some places where I can get a aftermarket boom? I am going to call Ag Meier who bought out Belton tomorrow and see what they have.

If you are handy, make you one that fits your needs. They are pretty easy to make.

I guess I should also take it to the next level and ask what nozzles yall are running on yours?

It could be that your rate per 1000 sq ft. has changed with the boomless nozzle so your not getting enough down. But you can find the parts to make one, or buy one at www.agspray.com, www.westheffer.com, www.sprayerdepot.com

I use Teejet txr conjet ceramic tips model TXR8001VK. They put out about .10 gpm each for me. they put out a fine cone mist. I have a 11' and a 6' I made and they work great. I always get full coverage and with the fine mist it seems I can use less product because the fine drops stick to the plant as opposed to bigger droplets running off the plant. It is what works best for me.
