Remotely Activated Feral Hog Trap

The makings of a new trap door. Found this 6' wide gate in the scrap bin at a local gate manufacturing place. It has a very small dent on one of the cross members and scuffed the paint so they tossed it in the scrap pile. Got it for a great price. Plan to reinforce it a little and weld 4x4 goat panel to one side. This will be a guillotine style gate.

I have a 40' corral trap with a 5'x8' gate that I made, guillotine style. Right now, my trigger is a simple homemade one that relies on hogs rooting a stick out from under a bucket filled with dirt that jerks a pin out from under the gate. I've caught 17 hogs at once in it, but most of my problem is trap-shy hogs. Most of the larger ones simply won't go in it. I would love to have an electronic trigger to drop the gate though. Any ideas ?

If you don't carry a gun when you go down to the trap, how do you get the hogs out? Do the hogs have to be delivered live to the distributor?
