Johnson grass and roundup?

Good luck with killing that crap. I sprayed my beans 3 times last year in one of my plots and never did get it all killed.

My Grandpa used to use a wick applicator attached to the front of his tractor and would drive down the rows of beans. Since the Johnson grass was so much taller it worked pretty good

If Johnson Grass is coming up from seed, glyphosate will kill it. If the JG has established rhizomes, glyphosate will produce a top kill and the JG will regrow after every spraying.
