Found this little guy in my food plot yesterday, can't be more than a few days old. Smaller than our cat! Didn't move a muscle, even when I snapped a couple of pictures. I cut short my plans and left him alone, I'm sure the doe was somewhere nearby.

Just nature doing her thing. When startled a young fawns heart rate slows significantly and they lay completely still. Their way of avoiding predation.

Great pic! It's been a long time since I've ran across a bedded fawn. I slowly drove through some plots this past weekend looking for one of those critters. Thx for sharing!

Stopped mowing one of my clover patches when I saw this. Next round would have been bad had I not seen it. Be careful working in your plots!
