The Land of Milk and Honey

Hauled in some fill. Then we started getting rain, so it looks like this may be on hold for a bit. Muddy mess… [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Land of Milk and Honey

Well, I started another project that is probably gonna hurt. [emoji23] Poured the footings for what will be a 2’ stem wall supporting a 40x18 lean-to. Progress pics to follow as we build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What's for dinner???

Yet another missed opportunity for most folks. You are utilizing all those good cuts! We do tacos and pulled turkey legs and thighs in BBQ sauce. Makes a great equivalent to shredded beef sandwiches!

    Is it just me ?

Tapatalk? Or online? My Tapatalk was messed up and I logged out and back in and it fixed it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is a missed opportunity for most folks. One of my favorite things to do now. That marrow makes the sauce so rich! Love it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking good, G! Is that the 800 series blower that everyone raves about?

Plotting in old fescue grass field

Maybe not immediately prior, but when I did it and allowed a few weeks for regrowth, I had great results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Plotting in old fescue grass field

Like Native said, it isn’t too hard to kill. I think getting rid of the thatch really helps get your herbicide to the green growing plant. Whether that is mowing or burning (I have done both) it really helps the effectiveness. Edit: I think adding AMS really helped me too. Sent from my iPhone...

    The Massey

A 2” sliver? Or 2” of the whole diameter? I’ve seen bucks with a bad break live if it was a sliver. A chunk could be different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
