    Turkey Hunting Thread!

+2 We pluck and roast our birds and we mostly eat the white meat as a main meal. Afterwards we break up & throw the whole carcass into the pot with a gallon of water, bay leaf, onion & some poultry seasoning and let it simmer over night. Then we strain the broth and add all the meat (chopped)...

    Turkey Hunting Thread!

Went out hunting with my 80 yr old dad today, the 2nd day of our Ontario season. I guess you can say that "the 2nd time's the charm" for dear old dad. It was an absolute hoot!

    Insect problem in brassicas

I've noticed holes in my brassica leaves pretty much every time I've planted them. Never seemes to hurt anything. I never spray for weeds either as brassicas seem to outgrow nearly anything else.

They were broadcast and not drilled, then shallow roto-tilled in. Not sure that it was ideal coverage with the rye, but I think it's close enough for the deer. Was...

I'm near the CAN/USA border close to Watertown, NY as a point of reference. Advice from anyone with...
