"Whitetail Hollow" - 90 Acres NE Oklahoma.

Envious of your barn. That's on my future agenda as my current is slowly rotting. Same issue as you , bedrock within1-2 feet typically. Good luck on the shoulder, old injury of mine screwed up a bow season 3 years ago.

Got the Goat barn dried in...

Johnny...I"m living in airports these days and not keeping up to date on threads as I like to. Love the pole barn! I remember the day the crew showed up to erect ours in 2011. I was amazed at how much they got done is such a short period of time. They know what they are doing. Your's looks great! Always good to catch up on a few of my favorite threads. Thx for sharing and hope the shoulder is doing better!

Well...had supper and was getting ready to shower and go to bed because 3:45 am comes awful early and happened to look out the dining room window and low and behold I spot a hog...I am thinking “my muzzleloader still needs to be shot out so I grab it out of the safe and my wife and I finally find a cap for it. I ease out the door and shoot him from the back porch :)

Have I ever mentioned how much I love living here?

The bad part of my day was a raccoon this morning at 75 mph on the turnpike...

You should see the front of my car! What's left of it is held together with zip ties. Coons and dillos (and cheap plastic cars with no real metal or style in them).

Nice job of the pig!

Poor coon! You puke on the sidewalk after looking at the bumper???

Felt like it...it’s my wife’s car and I had to tell her about it...

I dodged the first coon yesterday morning but a few miles further I wasn’t so lucky...saw 2 this morning from the rental car...

Trying to get rid of the pigs...this one is from the same litter the one my wife shot came from and as a bonus I finally got to shoot my muzzleloader out...lol
Nice pig.

Nice Honda. It's my long haul commuter as well. Leave the dent. Adds character.

Thanks...

On leaving the dent see my reply to gator...

Be careful out there...we have a rare chance of rain so I went out to the south plot with my spreader and the soybeans and sunflower seeds to do a throw n now into the rye grain and then was going to Brushhog it down over it. Was making seeding passes through the tall rye and a hen turkey flew up right from under the tractor. I stopped and looked and I was sitting on her chicks. 1 was under my back tire but I guess was saved due to being between the tread...I felt so bad I just went back to the house and hope she gathered them up before dark...tiny little chicks...

All the deer I had at the taxidermist are home now...this is laid back 9 that I killed 2 years ago with my bow on 2nd day of season...

This is the 9 point I killed on my draw hunt last November.

Saw a good buck in our plot this morning and in a few minutes I am walking over to try to sort out a pig...

Quite a Trophy room there, Okie. Yall know how to get it done. Good luck with the porker
I always wanted a nice trophy area in our home and my wife is nice enough to allow me to do whatever I want with deer mounts and such...no sign of the porker. Neighbors dogs were running through our place yesterday evening...again...
Your "walls" look great Okie!
Thanks catscratch...I like the phots I have seen of your walls as well...
