What type of acorn?

Can anyone identify this oak by the acorn? Saw a couple of them on the property I'm hunting this year and hopefully buying real soon.

That acorn didn't come off that tree. That tree is a white oak. That acorn is a black oak (a type of red oak).

Hmm, ok. I noticed multiple acorns with the same cap under that tree but I guess they could have bounced away from another tree nearby. Thanks.

Anybody know what this is? Looks like it was planted as a food plot of sorts because the rest of the field is hay. Obviously I have very little knowledge of plant identification.
