Got a couple of pics tonight of a weird looking visitor. What is it?

My guess is a gray fox

I think you have 2 separate critters. Picture 1 is a gray fox, 2nd is a coon.

I think Turkey Creek has the top two choices. If I had to bet my hunting fun on one animal I would say a gray fox. The one photo has the shape of a raccoon but the color is very different.

Lak would you say it is normal for a fox or raccoon to have that much fur this time of year in your neck of the woods?

I am not sure. Just glad it is not a hog. Although my trapping buddy told me recently that he needed some sausage

After enlarging the pic my guess would be a foX also.
