I don't want to kill fruit and nut trees when spraying plots, but I'm hoping to kill junk trees! Does anyone have the answer?

Not to be a smart ass, but the answer to your one sentence question, is a one sentence answer.
No, there are no miracle herbicides. Now, if you want to describe the situation more fully, you might find someone to come up with a strategy to get you from where you are to where you want to be.

What effect does IMOX have on trees if sprayed near the root zone of trees? I am spraying a clover plot with IMOX to kill weeds and grass. In the process I don't want to cause injury to trees along the edge of the plot. I know that IMOX has some residual effect, but I don't know if IMOX drift in the air of movement in the soil will harm trees.
