Suggest a forum where site sponsors can post new product reviews.

I would prefer to not have any corporate for sale Posts. That was one of the bad things about QDMA forum. ..the people who posted only when they were trying to sell something.

We don't have any site sponsors, so a dedicated forum for them would not get much activity!

I don't know about you guys, but as a collective of people passionate about a topic then it doesn't make sense to have site sponsors.

Like what happens if we sponsored something that was a piece of junk?

Maybe someday. Right now I own enough hardware and data center space that while I guess this does have a cost, it's just a drop in the bucket compared to the rest of the stuff. I've been on forums with Cutman for almost 20 years now - a passion of his is a passion of mine.

On other forums I am involved in we also don't necessarily try to turn a profit. Usually around Christmas time I'll post a link to Amazon so we get some referral fees. If people here shop from Amazon that is usually the *easiest* way to earn revenue without compromising the relative impartial nature of this forum.

Also once a year we like to run fund raisers. Since 2001 forums that we have been involved with have raised over 1.5 million dollars for charity. We've done everything from purchasing a SUV fir HIV vaccinations in Africa to a $200k check to the Jimmy Fund in Boston.

If the Amazon link works for you guys I would be happy to post it here. Any clicks on it would be greatly appreciated!

With that said - the BEST way to pay back this forum is to tell a friend about it. Like right now if you know someone who has some interested in QDMA or similar just e-mail him or her the link. Kids, parents, siblings, high school friends, folks you have met at a show, neighbors. Anyone. The more willing participants in this community the better the community is!! If even a handful of you guys invited two people each, I'd willingly pay for the site for the year out of my own pocket. I'm very very proud of this place, even if I'm very far from a subject matter expert.

    Thanks for all you do.
It is so relaxing to read a forum without someone trying
    to make a dollar constantly.......
Having no drama on this site makes me smile
    Thanks again

I've looked at all of your posts and a fair portion of them are promoting a product. Ads belong in classified thread.

alnipper49, I am a Amazon seller as well, so a link works for me, in the Classified.
I am a QDMA Canada member and will spread the word to my hunting friends and members to this forum.
I appreciate the reply and will contribute more QDM content posts in the future.
