On our lease it seems the only decent bucks are showing up at my stands, at least one time each. No telling where they’re gonna be from here on out, or if they’ll even be back. Maybe I’ll get lucky ! EC4550C9-C9AF-4244-B1FA-C20AA54821A3.jpeg D4CB38A0-2A65-45B2-8AAE-045194048799.jpeg

Both are worth ground checking. Good luck with the hunt.

Looks like the same deer, just that the rack looks darker when not lit up with a flash. Might be a good thing since it means he's hanging around.

I thought too, it looks like the same deer.

Now that I went back and viewed both pictures, the brow tines are identical. I believe it is the same deer also. I still say to ground check him.

It could be the same buck, but the brows on the night pic seem a little longer to me and the body seems a little heavier as well. I have three pics of the nighttime buck and two of the daytime one, and had to go and look at them again. Maybe I just want two different targets !:D One target that hangs around would beat two that don’t though !:)

Same buck. Look at taper on right main. It narrows at same spot and the turns slightly upward.

Yep, you are right, same buck. I pulled the camera that got the daytime pic this morning. They moved in a week ago today to thin 90 acres of timber so I imagine mature buck pics are gonna be slim to none, just like actual sightings while hunting. Nothing we can do about it, I’m just glad I have two other places to hunt. The other guys aren’t that lucky.
