Awesome. Love the pics, thanks for sharing! We went a different route and are going to retire at the farm. Crazy thing is, if I’d had a crystal ball, I’d have built a bigger place, and with a secluded office where I can work I disturbed. This working remotely thing has highlighted the need for quiet/closed doors where the puppy and family will let me be....

Thx Elk! If I had a do over at the farm I’d have done a lil more on everything. Lil more cabin...lil bigger tractor...lil bigger shop. On house build we prolly going more than we need but wanna make sure we have plenty of room when kids n grandkids show up.

Beautiful house! You added an extra reverse gable on the left that's not on the rendition?

Great to here from you George. Looks like you are doing a pretty good job of living the dream in the land of the giants! Think of you every time I place my keys on the shelf at the cabin right next to the knife you made for me. Lot of water under the bridge since then.

Pretty much according to plan with 3 car garage. Here’s a better pic that shows the gable over garage. With 3 car garage it makes for a really nice bonus room upstairs. Kind of like it’s own apartment up there.

    Triple C,
It sure has been a while! I hope you and your family are doing well. My wife & I are not Raleigh,NC. I became the Executive Director at the NC Forestry Association and life is just now starting to settle back to normal. I’m glad to see you and your wife have moved closer to your farm.

Great to hear from you John! Seems like yesterday you where a student at Clemson. Any children yet? Maybe you can give advice to Weekender now that they've moved back to the states. I know he's excited to improve his property in NC. Let's catch up soon.
