Have the seed, now just need some rain in the forecast. Unfortunately, they don’t sell that at the coop.

I need to hook you up some acorns. We shot a ton of doves last weekend, didn't take time to see if any seeds were ready to drop. Will check this weeknd.

That's a good lookin load in the bed of the truck! Only one thing looks better back there and that's fur-n-feathers.

Winter rye, awnless winter wheat, and a wildlife blend the coop sells which includes oats, rye, wheat, and peas. There's 4 bags of each there.

Sounds great Cat, keep me posted on what you find. If it works out schedule-wise, I'd love to attempt to knock down a few doves!

Was going to see if you wanted to this weekend but I'm going to end up working calves instead.

Got a little plot work done the last couple days. This is the view of the barn plot from above. The green on the right is brassicas planted last month. The newly worked ground is last fall’s brassica plot, now going to cereals, clover, and chicory. The rest of it is cereals thrown and mown into established clover.

Kept the tractor busy here lately. Had to take it to the “tractor hospital” for a minor fix recently.

Here’s a look at the 1/2 acre plot on the other side of the creek. Did a throw and mow into established clover there as well. The Massey is now done plot wise; now I’ll move on to a few spots we have permission on.
