Brush...Nice looking set of otters! Hate you're dealing with what seems like an endless drought on your place. I looked up "perseverance" in the dictionary and your face popped up! You are one persistent habitat guy in spite of what seems like an endless drought. I really can't imagine how frustrating that would be. We had a major one last year but that was the exception. Wishing rain your way!

Thanks, the Dust Bowl lasted about 7 years, so maybe the cycle will break.

Caught another otter today in my small pond..

I have a couple nice bucks, but they are creatures of the night until the rut! This big guy was with 3 small does in heat, when he ran from me as I approached my stand. I had hunted that location that morning, so he was there in the light of day! I only hunt that area when there is an East wind, so I might not see him again until next year.

There is another hunter after that buck only.

I need to take a pic on my food plots, they are bare dirt!!!

I have had many huge bucks here over the years, maybe because of drought. I have two rivers, so even if they are low, there is water and bottom ground.
