T-Max Trail Cameras 2016

I am fairly certain this is him from last year. Broke the same brow this year. He is just a big old dude...

Any luck with seeing any of these bruisers from the stand this fall?

I actually had close encounters with a few of them. The biggest buck came within 20 yards of me, but he came to the back of my blind so I never had a shot. That was a heart breaker as the neighbor killed him that evening. He said the taxidermist scored him at 168" typical ten. He had a broken brow, so he was almost certainly a B&C contender.

I grunted this buck to within 45 yards. He stopped behind a limb to look around. I was sure he was going to continue on the trail right under my stand. As luck would have it, you could hear two other bucks begin fighting in the draw to our South. Out he went like a rocket and I have not seen or heard of him since... :(

Another neighbor found this deer dead. H wasn't as big as I thought based on the trail camera photos...

I passed this deer several times over the course of the season. He is a very handsome deer and should be tempting next year.

This buck quit showing up on camera shortly after this picture was taken. I may never know what happened to him...

I was able to harvest this buck. While not a high scorer, he was certainly mature, and having my dad with me made it extra special. :)

I never got around to posting the trail camera photos. This is a buck we have had on camera for 3 years. Dad was finally able to take him this year. Super proud moment.
