How high off the ground do I want my boom for spraying plots? 24”? 30?
What nozzles are you using, at what pressure? 110 degree spray nozzles are normally 20" above foliage, and 20" spacing.
You want the top of the target weeds to be just about the same height as to where your spray from each nozzle overlaps. If the weeds are taller than that...you miss some....if your way above that you risk drifting and the like.
20ft boom with 13 flat fan tips spread 20” apart
Sagittarius and j-bird got it right, about 20", start spraying and watch to make sure there's just a little bit of overlap where the flat mist fans hit the weed tops.
