As you can see my scores came back and they are right around what I expected them to be. All 4 plot are established plots but have not been given the proper care in the last few years. My goal is to change this being that they now belong to me. All are less than a half acre and have peas planted in them now. Getting browsed pretty good I will add. So I am trying to make a decision on which fert. To use per the report. Lime will happen in the next week or so btw. Tell me what you guys think about this. Thanks in advance for the input.

Also here is a pic of one of the plots with peas

You just need to take the amount needed per acre and multiply that by how large the plot is.

For example on Plot 1 that is 0.3 of an acre.

Nitrogen requirements are 50# per acre. 50 X 0.3 = 15
Phos requirements are 40# per acre 40 X 0.3 = 12
Pot Ash requirements are 60# per acre 60 X 0.3 = 18

So 15# of N, 12# of Phos, 18# of Pot Ash

For plot #1 I would just purchase 100# of triple 13, or triple 15--whatever you can find close to that and apply. Unless you get it custom made you will never be able to get it exact. With 100# of triple 13 you will be applying 13 pounds of each to the plot.

So what to Plant ?? What I want to plant and what I should plant are 2 different things. Clover would be sweet but PH is adequate for that yet. So I am thinking maybe some Oats, Winter wheat and maybe some rape this fall and then transitioning into something of cover crop for spring (not sure what yet..maybe BW) also I will be discing and broadcasting the seed in for fall but intend to throw and mow in spring.

You could try red clover or crimson clover. Those 2 seem to be more tolerant of acidic pH. If you decide on red clover it can also work as your cover crop and you won't have to disc again. The red clover will also improve your soil and then you can disc under the red clover the following fall. Are you planning on liming this fall when discing? If you want to start a perennial plot next fall then you need to get that lime down to get working. With smaller plots like that I'd just use pelleted lime.

Yes I will be putting lime down soon (pelletized). Can I do both red and crimson?

Yes you can. The crimson is a very quick growing clover and will produce lots of very early spring forage but by May it is usually gone. The red will last all spring and summer - at least here in Oklahoma
