Seeding rate

I hate to beat a dead horse but I'm heading to camp for the day tomorrow to plant. mixing PPT and GHR together. I need a seeding rate by sq ft not acres. 1 plot is 13,000 sq ft 1 is 5000 sq ft and another is 3000 sq ft. I know the rates for each are on hancock seed site but not mixed together:rolleyes:o_O

43500 sq feet is an acre.
I do know that. Usually I buy a mix. This yr I got seperate bags of each. Seeding rate for Radishes is 10 to 15 lbs an acre, turnips are 5 lbs an acre sooooooo if I mix them together ?????

Assuming you are going with a 50/50 mix of PTT and GHR and using a seeding rate of 8.5 lbs/acre you would have the following......

13000 sq ft = .30 acres so you need 41 ozs or 2.5 lbs
5000 sq ft = .11 acres so you need 15 ozs
3000 sq ft = .07 acres so you need 9.5 ozs

Remember, this is total seed weight so each variety would be half of the above amounts.

That was easy. Thanks
