SC Kansas

I watched it rain on you. Made for a real pretty sunset but we didn't get a drop.
Those are some nice bucks! Good luck to your daughter as she chases them and good luck to you on your trip.

Lol, I water too. Didn't think I would need to but the trees I planted this spring were starting to dry out. We got 2 inches to your 5.

How did your bean rag test turn out? Bad seed or another reason you had poor planting success?

It took 4 days but it turned out well I don't know the issue unless rain packed ground.I haven't ever had an issue with it before.I did till up some and broadcasted sunflower seed figured might get some young browse.I also downloaded the Realtree365 app and it not only has the midwest whitetail chasing november but has episode of paydirt,it's a series on habitat

I hope you can post some more, great to see others on the tour from Kansas. You have a great looking property!

Thanks I will try to update new photos,I have been trapping gophers now up to 15 at this one country cemetery.I also bought a 30 acre piece that has a heck of a duck swamp that I put up wood duck boxes, mallard tubes and goose nest.Had to water fruit trees tonight

Not greatest picture my archery kill on left and daughters are other 2,the one was shot last weekend of ML season and was not going to shed same time as regular bucks.Did have pic from last year and he looked almost same but had got rid of most of his velvet, even same stubby brows.I sprayed with velvetlok so it is drying.

We have been duck hunting since we have filled out buck tags on the 30 acres I bought late last year. Wife will start gun hunting wednesday and I am trying to pin down a couple of new bucks for her to chase. Everyone stay safe

I think you have the best duck spot I've ever seen! Quite the setup.

Nice job on you and the girls getting bucks. Hope the wife has good luck. My oldest still has a buck tag to fill. The youngest wants to shoot a doe. I filled my tag a few days ago. This has been one of the most fun seasons I've had.

This is a Real World oats field, first time I have planted it and I put up the exclusion cage about a month ago.I don't think I have seen a single crop that that the deer hit as hard.I same field I have soybeans, clover, winter wheat, turnipsoats.jpg north field.jpg

The duck hunting was good for a week and then not good at all yesterday,We have harvested 10 mallard limits in last 1 1/2 weeks along with a few bonus birds

Looks like a good opportunity to see what’s using a property and if a person knows where the deer are bedding, you could set up a couple hundred yards into the timber and be in the action.
