We have a couple of times.
My neighbor owns one and he did a 1 acre plot for me. It did a nice job but its a slow process. And you'll end up with a pile of rock and other debris where you terminate each pass so I would advise being strategic about the directions and termination of the passes.
My neighbor used his rock hound when he made access roads on his property. He was happy with the results.
