Had to use some heat and a big hammer to get this panel flat again. Got a bit wavey from welding[IMG][IMG][IMG]

I am going to throw this out only because you have the knowledge. I have a 2005 Chevy crew cab that has rust spots (bubbles) starting above the rear wheel wells, common problem unfortunately. What would be a proper way to fix that? My normal auto body guy said he can fix it but will likely come back and wont guarantee how long before it happens.

That's due to dirt and moisture trapped between the inner wheel housing and outer panel. Unfortunately the only way to fix it is to cut it out and put a new panel in it. Lmc truck should have the panels

What an amazing project. You have made a bunch of forum users happy.

If there something you can't do? Forget that - don't believe you could convince any of us. You rock!!!

    Thanks for sharing.

So it's way to time consuming trying to load the exact same pictures lost on photobucket. I decided to just copy and past my thread from a Jeep restoration site I belong to so if things look a bit off that's why, but there will be a lot more pictures and detail to this thread.

    Page one is done
