Been neglecting my updates. I got the motor and transfer case rebuilt. Fuel injection, aluminum heads and intake manifold, electronic ignition. Overdrive automatic transmission conversion also done. I will post more when I get time. Here's a little video teaser for now
Looking great! I like the idea of fuel injection and overdrive.

The Red Devil got to her first car show today. An hour and a half round trip. It ran great. Was a big hit
John - I LOVE this thread! Hope you keep including us on any and all projects.
Thanks, have a lot of catching up to do with you guys with the chevy restoration. Just need to find time
Been awhile so a quick catch up
I finished the welding on the cab, gave it a couple of coats of epoxy primer then did what body work I can without the doors and fenders. Then another coat of primer over that. Also put bedliner tinted to the color the truck is going to be under where rug is going.
I made a jig for my engine hoist so I can get my cab on, then I stripped the tiawan primer off the aftermarket parts and applied epoxy primer. Next I put it all together to do the body work to get all the gaps perfect, then it all comes apart for paint
Bye bye Red Devil enjoy your new garage kept life in Long Island
John - I can't open any of the pics you posted on the 17th.
All the panel fitting and welding is finished. Spot sprayed the epoxy over the welds, time for body work
